This application is scheduled to be phased out; users are encouraged to download the updated versions: "Polynomial Solver Step by Step" for polynomial equation solutions and "Matrix Solver Step by Step" for systems of linear equations and overdetermined systems solutions.

"Polynomials and Linear Systems" is a user-friendly, free-of-charge application without advertisements. It offers the following functionalities:

1. Solves polynomial equations of up to 10 degrees, providing a comprehensive list of all real and complex solutions in tabular form, along with graph representations of the real solutions.
2. Handles systems of up to 8 linear equations with both real and complex coefficients, including detailed explanations of the row reduction process.
3. Determines optimal solutions for overdetermined systems—comprising more equations (up to 10) than variables (up to 7)—using the Least Squares method.

The app also provides links to four additional free tools developed by the same team:
